3 Fast And Foolproof Ways To Get Rid Of Period Stains In Your Undies
We’ve all been there: Thinking you’re a few days out from your period, but, like that Red Wedding scene in Game of Thrones, a bloody mess comes out of nowhere. Your favorite underwear can quickly fall victim to this “ambush” period. In a matter of seconds, you can ruin a perfectly good ~lacy tanga~
But before you head to the trash with your, uh, new “tie-dye” pair of panties, you need to know there’s a better way. Here, we shares three ways to get those stains out of your underwear:
Salt and water
Mix a little salt with cold water to create a scrub. Then, dip a toothbrush (obviously, not your *actual* toothbrush) in the solution and scrub the stained area. The salt will help draw the stain out of the fabric. Pop the undies in the washer, and you’re a stain-free Sally.
Hydrogen peroxide and water
Dip a washcloth in the hydrogen peroxide and rub it on your ruined lingerie. Rinse the undies with cold water and then repeat. The peroxide will work like bleach, so only use this technique on white or light underwear—the perfect victim for a period’s unexpected arrival. Wash per usual before wearing again.
Advil (trust us!) and water
Break up a few Advil pills in a bowl and add cold water. Mix to create a paste. Then, scrub with your newly-dubbed “period toothbrush.” Rinse, and throw it in the washer like normal.
